… my very first SLR-Camera (a Canon EF-M) and the Canon macro lens (EF 100/2.8) brought me to the fascinating perspective of macro photography. Since then I always carried a camera and several lenses with me. A few years ago, I then started my own webpage www.foto-natur.de where I started to present some of my fotos. Since 2005 there is a much bigger project which I started with a friend of mine: the online foto platform www.fotouristen.de which is open to everybody interested in fotography of any kind. It`s free … take a look; it`s worth it ! HERE you can see some of my fotos.
We started the idea for the fotourists in 2005, developed a light version and published it as “beta” later in the year. In early 2006 we redesigned the page with new features and since then the community is growing. What I like most is the high quality of the fotos uploaded by the fotourists and the friendly and warm atmosphere in our forum as well as the constructive and objective discussions. THAT`s what online foto forums make having fun … and of course: good presentation of the pictures.
